| B.V.Sc & A.H Programme | Candidates who have passed or are appearing in 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English are eligible. |
| M.V.Sc and Ph.D (Veterinary Science) Programme | Candidates who have passed or are appearing in B.V.Sc. & A.H. are eligible. For Doctorate programs , a M.V.Sc. degree in the relevant subject is required. |
| B.Tech Biotechnology | Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Mathematics , and English . General/OBC category: Minimum 60% marks SC/ST category: Minimum 55% marks |
| Bachelor of Technology (Diary Technology) | Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics , and English . General/OBC : Minimum 60% marks SC/ST : Minimum 55% marks |

| M.Sc (Biotechnology) / M.V.Sc (Biotechnology) / Ph.D (Biotechnology) | Candidates applying for M.Sc must have a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Biological Sciences. For M.V.Sc, a degree in Veterinary Science is required. M.Tech applicants should have a 4-year Engineering degree with Biology or a related subject studied at 10+2 or later. For Doctorate programs, candidates need a Master’s degree (M.Sc/M.Tech in a relevant science field or M.V.Sc). General/OBC candidates must have at least 60% marks, and SC/ST candidates need 55%. |
